Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the University Psychological Counseling Unit participated in the preliminary rounds of the “Ambassadors of the Holy Quran” competition for undergraduate students, organized by the Educational and Psychological Research Center at the University of Baghdad.

This participation stems from the College’s commitment to support cultural and religious activities that contribute to developing students’ spiritual and moral values ​​and strengthening their connection to the Holy Quran.

The College of Pharmacy was represented in this competition by fifth-year students Idris Adnan Mahmoud and Raw’a Shaker Mahmoud, who delivered outstanding performances in reciting the Holy Quran according to the rules of Tajweed. Furthermore, they demonstrated a high level of proficiency and excellence in recitation, qualifying them to participate in the competition’s closing ceremony alongside students from various colleges within the university.

Through this participation, the College of Pharmacy reaffirms its commitment to support purposeful student activities that promote cultural identity and Islamic values, and encourage students to showcase their talents and develop their abilities in various fields.

In conclusion, the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy wishes its participating students continued success in the final stage of the competition, affirming its continued support for all initiatives and events that contribute to building a well-rounded student personality scientifically, culturally, and morally.
