Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Volunteer Work Unit at the College of Pharmacy/ University of Baghdad, in cooperation with volunteer team students and with the participation of several faculty members and staff, organized a voluntary campaign to visit Al-Suleikh Orphanage on March 23, 2026, coinciding with the celebrations of Eid Al-Fitr. The campaign included organizing a lunch for 30 children residing at the orphanage, aged between 6 and 12 years. Full meals were provided along with sweets and juices, in an atmosphere filled with care and compassion. The students of volunteer team also made sure to share the joy of Eid with the children by distributing gifts, which contributed to bringing happiness and smiles to their faces, while enhancing their sense of care and social support.
