The Dean of the College of Pharmacy / University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, attended the meeting of the Certificate Equivalency Committee for Medical Sciences / Pharmacy specialization, held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations. This participation reflects the College’s active academic engagement in specialized ministerial committees. Assistant Professor Dr. Ayad Abdul Ali, a committee member, also participated in the meeting as part of the committee’s ongoing work in reviewing and following up on certificate equivalency files. The meeting included discussions on several items under discussion related to certificate equivalency applications, in addition to exploring appropriate decision-making approaches in accordance with approved regulations and guidelines, ensuring the maintenance of scientific integrity and academic standards within the field of pharmacy. This participation highlights the significant scientific and academic role played by the College of Pharmacy staff in contributing to the work of specialized committees and supporting the higher education sector.
