The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, participated as a keynote speaker in the scientific conference held during the 20th Annual Scientific and Cultural Week, organized by Ahl Al-Bayt University on April 12, 2026. During the conference, the dean delivered a lecture entitled “Strategies in Pharmaceutical Education,” highlighting the current state of education in colleges of pharmacy and emphasizing the importance of keeping pace with modern educational developments. The lecture stressed the need to adopt active learning approaches and interactive teaching methods instead of traditional lecture-based instruction. It also reviewed several tools and techniques that can be utilized to enhance the educational process and ensure more efficient learning outcomes.
