Within its ongoing efforts to strengthen its academic presence and contribute to the development of specialized postgraduate studies, the College of Pharmacy at University of Baghdad actively participated in a meeting of the committee responsible for following up the Higher Diploma in Industrial Pharmacy. This was represented by the participation of the Head of the Pharmaceutics Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Hanan Jalal Kassab, as part of the specialized committee.
The meeting included a comprehensive discussion of applications submitted by candidates seeking to obtain the Professional Diploma in Industrial Pharmacy. The submitted files were carefully reviewed to ensure that they met the approved academic and scientific requirements, in addition to evaluating the applicants’ academic backgrounds and practical experiences in alignment with the nature and objectives of the program.
The Head of the Pharmaceutics Department played a prominent role in the committee’s work, contributing through providing scientific opinions and specialized consultation, as well as participating in the auditing of data and documents. This contributes to enhancing the quality of the program’s outcomes and ensuring the selection of qualified candidates for admission.
This participation reflects the vision of the College of Pharmacy / University of Baghdad in supporting high-quality academic programs and advancing pharmaceutical education in a manner that meets the needs of the labor market in the pharmaceutical industrial sector, while preparing qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with modern scientific and technological developments.
