Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, a five-a-side football championship match was held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, on the college’s sports field. The match was organized by the Student Activities Division at the College of Pharmacy and brought together the Third-Stage Team and the Alumni Team B. The championship was organized with the aim of developing students’ athletic skills, enhancing communication among them, and fostering a vibrant recreational atmosphere that promotes sports culture and instills the values of teamwork and sportsmanship within the university campus while also reinforcing collaboration with college alumni and engaging them actively in extracurricular activities. The match began in an enthusiastic atmosphere characterized by friendly competition and high-level performance, with attendance from students and alumni who actively supported and encouraged the participating teams. The match concluded with a 7–5 victory for the Third-Stage Team. Goals for the Third-Stage Team were scored by Redha Muntasir (3 goals), Mohammed Baqir (2 goals), and Tahseen Ahmed (2 goals). Meanwhile, goals for Alumni Team B were scored by Ali Hassan (3 goals) and Muqtadha Hussein (2 goals). Congratulations to the Third-Stage Team on this well-deserved and outstanding victory.
