Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the University of Baghdad/ College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Medical City Directorate, has successfully completed the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for fifth-year Pharm D students. This examination comes after a full year of intensive clinical training undertaken by the students in Medical City hospitals, aiming to enhance their practical skills and prepare them for the demands of professional practice within healthcare settings. The evaluation process was conducted by faculty members of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, including Assistant Professor Dr.  Samer Imad Mohammed and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Latif Jassim, alongside the Scientific Assistant of Baghdad Teaching Hospital, Specialist Pharmacist Dr. Kawthar Faris, in addition to a number of graduates of the Iraqi Board of Clinical Pharmacy. The examination was supervised by the Director General of the Medical City Directorate, Consultant Pharmacist Dr. Hasan Al-Temimi. These efforts reflect the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to advancing the quality of pharmaceutical education and integrating it with practical application, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) through strengthening students’ clinical competencies, Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by preparing qualified pharmaceutical professionals capable of improving healthcare quality, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through fostering effective collaboration between academic institutions and the healthcare sector.
