At the kind invitation of the President of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Haider Foaad Al-Saigh, the Dean of the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Al-Khateeb, attended the meeting held on Saturday, 16 May 2026, at the headquarters of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Pharmacy and Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriyah University, Professor Dr. Mundhir Faisal Mahdi; the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Haider Baha Abdul Sahib; in addition to several parliamentary and academic figures. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the framework for contracting graduates of colleges of pharmacy covered by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 184 of 2022 for the Class of 2024, in accordance with Council of Ministers Resolution No. 15 of 2026, which contributes to supporting top graduates and providing them with employment opportunities within the colleges from which they graduated until their appointment to permanent positions. The participation of the dean of the college confirms his commitment to supporting top graduates and following up on issues that contribute to enhancing their professional and academic stability, in line with the University of Baghdad’s vision of fostering and supporting young scientific talents. These efforts are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
