The Dean of the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, attended on Friday, August 7, 2026, the activities of the “Tafawuq Campaign,” held to honor the top graduates of Iraqi colleges of pharmacy. The event was organized by Al-Nimaa Scientific Bureau in cooperation with the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, in the presence of a number of deans and professors from colleges of pharmacy, alongside a distinguished group of fellow pharmacists.
The ceremony commenced with the Iraqi National Anthem, followed by the recitation of Al-Fatiha while standing in tribute to the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The program then continued with a series of activities celebrating academic excellence and achievement, culminating in the honoring of the top graduates of colleges of pharmacy.
As part of the “Tafawuq Campaign,” the top graduates from colleges of pharmacy were honored, including the top graduates of the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy, in recognition of their academic excellence and outstanding achievements: Basma Kareem Muhsen, first-ranked graduate; Manar Jathoul Khalaf, second-ranked graduate; and Mohammed Hussam Asim, third-ranked graduate.
The College of Pharmacy proudly celebrates the achievements of its outstanding graduates and remains committed to supporting their academic and professional journeys. The college extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for continued success and achievement, hoping that they will carry forward the college’s scientific and humanitarian mission and contribute to building a sustainable and healthier society, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education.
