The University of Baghdad, College of Pharmacy, marked a notable scientific and cultural presence at the 27th Baghdad International Book Fair through the participation of Professor Dr. Dheyaa Jabbar Kadhim, a faculty member in the Clinical Pharmacy Department, as part of the pavilion organized by the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate to showcase the scientific publications of Iraqi pharmacists.
Professor Dr. Dheyaa Jabbar Kadhim participated in the exhibition with three pharmaceutical publications, including the second edition of Community Pharmacy: A Guide to the Management of Minor Ailments, which focuses on community pharmacy, along with the third editions of the two Summer Training Guide books for third and fourth stage pharmacy students. These guides aim to support pharmacy students during their summer training and enhance the practical component of their educational journey.
The publications received considerable interest and appreciation from visitors to the exhibition, particularly academics, specialists, and those interested in the pharmaceutical field. This reflects the importance of pharmaceutical books and academic authorship in scientific and cultural events, as well as their role in enriching specialized knowledge.
This scientific presence is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through providing specialized scientific knowledge, supporting the development of students’ educational and practical skills, and enhancing opportunities for learning and acquiring the skills necessary for their academic and professional careers.
