The University of Baghdad, College of Pharmacy, represented by Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, Dean of the College, signed an academic twinning and collaboration agreement with the College of Pharmacy at Madenat Alelem University on Sunday, 11 October 2026. The signing took place in the presence of the President of Madenat Alelem University, Prof. Dr. Fares Abdul-Karim, and the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Doaa Jaafar Al-Tamimi.
The signing of this agreement comes as an extension of our college’s scientific journey and its pursuit of advancing academic standards and expanding academic collaboration with educational institutions in a manner that enables the utilization of the competence of its teaching staff and their expertise in organizing scientific activities and developing pharmaceutical education.
This collaboration comes as a continuation of the college’s approach to academic openness, which has resulted in the signing of numerous agreements. These agreements contribute to improving the quality of education and strengthening partnerships among educational institutions, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
