The workshop aimed to raise health awareness about the safe use of microwave ovens and plastic containers, and to introduce proper practices for heating and storing food in order to reduce potential risks resulting from the improper use of plastic materials.

The workshop included several topics, including the potential health risks associated with using plastic containers in microwave ovens, the suitability of different types of plastic for heating, the effects of high temperatures on the properties of plastic materials, and the possibility of certain components migrating into food. It also addressed the importance of distinguishing between containers intended for food storage and those suitable for use in microwave ovens

The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of following microwave safety guidelines, choosing containers specifically designed for heating food, and avoiding unsuitable plastic containers, thereby promoting food safety and protecting public health.
