Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Hashem Al-Khatib, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy / University of Baghdad held a scientific seminar presented by pharmacist Adnan Mustafa Ismail, a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences department. The workshop aims to summarize the importance of using BIRADS and fine-needle aspiration cytology in optimizing the diagnosis of breast cancer. The lecture included: an introduction about BIRADS in giving a precise and initial clue about the diagnosis of breast tumors, also the role of fine-needle aspiration cytology in confirming the diagnosis of breast tumor.
