Department of clinical pharmacy

The department was established in 1992 to be the main source for the rehabilitation of pharmaceutical cadres who have a scientific base and qualifications that enable them to apply the principles and fundamentals of pharmaceutical sciences at the level of patient treatment, evaluate the positive and negative effects of this treatment and find appropriate solutions to the problems resulting from it, thus leading to the optimal investment of materials for health services and upgrading the general level to community health through:– Implement clinical pharmacy practices.– Enhancing the pharmacist’s communication skills with the doctor and the patient.– Implement clinical pharmacy service practices in the hospital.– Implement therapeutic drug monitoring practices in patient care to design a drug regimen.The department includes the following scientific laboratories: clinical pharmacy, pharmacological monitoring, and a workshop. The college awards a postgraduate who graduates from the department, a certificate: Higher diploma, Master, Doctorate of philosophy in clinical pharmacy.
