Under the protonage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, our college actively participated in the Ramadan Qur’anic Competition organized by the Center for Educational and Psychological Research at the University of Baghdad, held under the slogan (Ambassadors of the Holy Qur’an), and dedicated to undergraduate students. The competition witnessed the participation of a distinguished group of Qur’an reciters and memorizers from various colleges across the University of Baghdad. The event was marked by an atmosphere of spiritual and academic enthusiasm, where participants demonstrated exceptional skills in recitation, mastery of Tajweed rules, and eloquent vocal performance. The performances were evaluated by a specialized panel of judges comprising professors of Qur’anic sciences. We are proud to announce that Abrar Thaer Najeeb, a student from the College of Pharmacy, achieved fourth place and was awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of her outstanding talent in Qur’an recitation. The Dean of the College expressed his deep pride and appreciation for this honorable participation and congratulated the student on this blessed achievement, wishing her continued success and excellence. He also reaffirmed the College’s ongoing support for its students in various academic, cultural, and religious activities that contribute to shaping their character and enhancing their abilities.
