Professor Dr. Shatha H. Ali, Head of the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department, received two appreciation certificates from Professor Dr. Muneer Al-Saadi, the university rector, for her outstanding efforts and publication of two research projects with researchers from the University of Baghdad in journals within the Scopus and Clarivate Analytics. The appreciation certificates were for the article entitled “Integrin alpha-4 gene polymorphism in relation to natalizumab response in multiple sclerosis patients” in the Neurology Asia journal and the publisher, “ASEAN Neurological Association.” And the article entitled “Correlation between Integrin Alpha-4 Gene Polymorphisms and Failure to Respond to Natalizumab Therapy in Iraqi Multiple Sclerosis Patients” in Farmacia journal and the publisher “The Romanian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences.”
