Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person scientific seminar on gout disease, delivered by Marwa Akram Tariq, an MSc student at the Clinical Pharmacy Department. The seminar aimed to shed light on the topic of gout disease, which is the most common form of inflammatory arthritis affecting men.The seminar included various topics, including the definition of gout disease and its incidence, disease causes, complications, diagnosis, treatment, and prophylaxis.
