Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Supporting Committee for Volunteer Work at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with Al-Ain Social Care Foundation, organized a charity bazaar that goes back to orphans and those in need on Wednesday and Thursday, February 21–22, 2024. The bazaar included handmade products and crafts created by our students, such as accessories, candles, paintings, embroidery, and crochet, as well as various foods, snacks, sweets, and other impressive works that revealed the creative aspects of our dear students.In addition to this, the bazaar featured various entertainment activities, including musical performances, a dedicated photo corner, face painting, henna hand painting, and other delightful details. The bazaar witnessed great success in terms of attendance and funds raised. The Dean’s associates, department heads, and many faculty members were keen to attend and encourage students to take this wonderful initiative and participate in the bazaar. On the sidelines of the bazaar, the participating students were honored by the Dean, who praised their contributions, describing the bazaar as wonderful and exceeding expectations.
