Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Continuing Education Unit at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person workshop entitled “Guide and Basics of Writing a Scientific Review Article,” delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Imad Mohammed, a faculty member at the Clinical Pharmacy department. The workshop covered an overview of review articles, their classifications, the significance of composing them for researchers, selecting a suitable topic for a review article, the necessary steps for writing review articles, the components of a review article, and guidelines for writing each component. The workshop also included illustrative examples of writing each part, the steps that must be followed to write each part, and some basic tips that were presented so that the article has high scientific value and is easily published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
