Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person scientific seminar entitled “SwissADME Website,” delivered by Pharmacist Mustafa Mahir Allawi, the PhD student at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department. The seminar aimed to study ADME via an electronic website easily and quickly before manufacturing compounds that could lead to undesirable results. The seminar concluded that ADME studies the results of analogues of new compounds reported by SwissADME to establish which drug candidate(s) are safer and more effective and to exclude tested compounds that may fail in the next stages of drug development due to non-free ADME results.
