Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Pharmacy/University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Voluntary Work Support Committee, held an awareness activity under the name (Drugs addiction is a scourge and destruction of people. The activity included a number of posters, brochures, and artistic works prepared by the college students under the direct supervision of their faculty members in the department of pharmaceutical chemistry. The activity aimed to educate and warn young people about the dangers of drug addiction, raise awareness among them, and enhance their knowledge and morals. The activity presented what our students wanted to say in practical, theoretical, and artistic ways to consolidate the importance of awareness and the role of continuous work in protecting members of society from falling into the drug addiction trap.
