The College of Pharmacy organized the third vigil in support of our brothers in Palestine on Sunday morning, 5/5/2024, in response to the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’a Al-Sudani and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Yasser Al-Aboodi. Many faculty members and students who met in the stadium of the college participated in this event to express their rejection and condemnation of the attack on our brothers in the Gaza Strip in Palestine. The Palestinian flags and expressive placards were raised to condemn this brutal attack, and the respected media unit official presented a symbolic speech condemning the inhumane practices on our brothers in Palestine, a humanitarian catastrophe of various scales, followed by a poem by the poet Tamim Barghouti, was presented by a faculty member in our College. This initiative is part of our college’s permanent approach to supporting humanitarian issues in all moral or material ways and expressing the nobility of our faculty members and our students and their constant preparedness for all the best.
