Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Continuing Education Unit at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person workshop entitled “Anti-obesity effect of Trizepatide” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Amani Jabbar a faculty member at the pharmacology and toxicology Department. The workshop aimed to review the anti-obesity effect of trizepatide and how it acts to reduce weight in obese people.The workshop included several topics including dosing, possible side effects, and comparison with other anti-obesity medications. The workshop concluded that trizepatide is safe and effective in treating obesity and needs more research and studies about long-term use without serious side effects.
