Under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, a training workshop was organized by the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Division of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation at the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad. The workshop, entitled “University Performance Evaluation for Staff and Faculty for the 2023-2024 Academic Year”, was presented by Lecturer Dr. Kawther Khalid Ahmed, chair of quality assurance and performance evaluation division at the college.The workshop aimed to clarify the sections of performance evaluation forms and their implications for furthering the faculty and staff performance. The workshop discussed different aspects related to performance evaluation and clarified the notifications received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the university regarding the scientific research section. The workshop also highlighted weaknesses that needed to be addressed in the previous academic and performance evaluations of new recruits.
