In implementation of the directives of the esteemed Minister of the Interior regarding the organization of workshops and awareness seminars in academic institutions and others to maintain media momentum for raising awareness among all segments of society, and informing them about the process of registering civilian weapons, as well as applying for a firearm purchase form, and the dangers of their spread—particularly unlicensed weapons—and their impact on societal peace. The workshop, titled “Registration and Purchasing Personal Weapons for Citizens“, was presented by Lieutenant Colonel Salam Sadiq Maktouf.The delegation was received by the Dean Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Shihab Khattab Mutlak, and Lecturer Mais Fadhel, Head of the Media and Public Relations Division. The workshop was enriched by the questions and discussions from our esteemed professors and college staff, and concluded with words of gratitude and praise from the Assistant Dean, who also honored the lecturer with a shield bearing the college’s logo.
