Under the sponsorship and guidance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, and supervised by the Support Committee for Volunteerism, the College of Pharmacy organized a volunteer campaign by opening a medical post to provide healthcare services to the visitors of Imam Musa Alkathum (peace be upon him). This initiative involved a number of undergraduate students, supported by their professors. The procession started from our college, and the medical post was set up on the visitors’ route near the Cairo Police Station and the Sulaikh Passport Office for two days, January 25th and 26th, 2025, from (2:00 to 9:00) PM. During this time, various medications and medical supplies were provided, and visitors were given advice on the proper use of medications and the risks of overuse. Additionally, blood pressure and blood sugar levels were measured, and wounds were dressed. This campaign is one of many volunteer efforts organized by our college to offer services to visitors during this religious occasion.
