The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, welcomed the Chairman of the Deans’ Committee, Professor Dr. Monther Faisal Mahdi, accompanied by a delegation of faculty members, for the purpose of discussing the modernization of pharmacy curricula across Iraq, review the progress made by previously formed committees, and examine their proposals. Curriculum development has become one of the most important challenges facing academic education, driven by the need to keep pace with the rapid advancements in the job market, which increasingly demands pharmacists equipped with advanced skills. It is worth mentioning that multiple committees were formed earlier to review the curricula and provide proposals for this purpose. These proposals, along with new ideas, were discussed to identify the most effective recommendations that align with scientific advancements and the evolving needs of society.
