Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Dean of the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy, held a meeting with laboratory instructors and teaching assistants, attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Munaf H. Abdulrazzaq, along with a number of heads of scientific departments.
The meeting focused on the importance of promoting excellence in pharmaceutical education by assessing students’ scientific skills and enhancing the practical component as an applied extension of theoretical knowledge.
Professor Alkhateeb emphasized the need to guide students toward achieving learning objectives in every laboratory experiment, ensuring a solid understanding of scientific concepts and their connection to modern pharmaceutical applications.
He also stressed the significance of adhering to academic quality standards and updating teaching methods to align with global developments in pharmaceutical education, aiming to graduate competent pharmacists who possess both scientific knowledge and practical skills essential for the job market.
