Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Continuing Education Unit at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Baghdad, held an in-person workshop entitled “How to build an environment that encourages continuous learning and adapting to change,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Suhail Nassir, a faculty member at the Pharmacognosy Department and Head of the Continuing Education Unit. The workshop aimed to address the concepts and forms of continuous learning and provide the best tips for improving continuous education and how to gain flexibility to adapt to the changing work environment. The workshop included several topics, including: the topic of continuous learning, which covers the difference between learning and education, as well as forms of continuous education. The topic of adapting to change presented the advantages of adapting to change, which include gaining flexibility, seizing opportunities, improving mental health, and enhancing leadership abilities. The workshop concluded that to provide some simple ways that can improve the field of education by acquiring knowledge, enhancing self-awareness, and improving communication skills to achieve good learning outcomes.
