Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kadhem Al-Khateeb, the Student Activities Unit launched the Table Tennis Championship for the college students on Monday, October 13, 2025, in the sports hall.
The championship aims to encourage student participation, develop physical and mental skills, and create a space for positive interaction among students. This event comes as part of the college’s commitment to promoting sports activities, fostering the spirit of fair competition, and diversifying events that contribute to building a well-rounded university student personality.
A number of students from all academic stages participated in the championship, where the matches were held in a highly sporting spirit under the supervision of the organizing committee, which ensured fair and competitive conditions. The first day witnessed powerful matches that demonstrated the participants’ skill and excellence. The games will continue in the coming days until the winners of the top positions are crowned.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of holding such tournaments for their positive impact in supporting extracurricular activities, refining students’ personalities, and strengthening the spirit of teamwork.
At the end of the championship, prizes and certificates of appreciation will be given to the winning and participating students in recognition of their efforts and active contribution to the success of this sporting event.
