Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Hashim Kadhim, the esteemed committee supporting volunteer work, in cooperation with the owners of agricultural engineering and the branch of drugs and medicinal plants, organized a voluntary campaign to plant a botanical garden with medicinal plants. The most important medicinal plants that have medical benefits and importance in the research work of postgraduate students and teachers, and among these plants that were added to the garden (neem bushes, carob, jujube, cardamom, citrus fruits, laurel, wormwood, jacaranda, creeping mina, cloves, mint, rosacea, Morinca (banana tree), henna tree, pamber, mango, fig, Olive, Cypress, Narcissus bulbs, Maryam’s palm, Atropa belladona and others) The campaign started on and ended on a day. This campaign comes as part of a series of volunteer work for the year 2022-2023, which contributes to supplying our college with natural resources from which medicines and chemical compounds emerge that can be developed in research or introduced in marketing projects.
