Under the supervision of the dean of the College of Pharmacy, assistant professor Dr. Sarmad Hashem Al-khatib, the scientific affairs unit at the College of Pharmacy/ University of Baghdad, held a scientific seminar delivered by Rand Muthanna Sulaiman, a Ph.D. student in the clinical pharmacy department. The workshop aims 1- Raise knowledge regarding the importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle measures to avoid having early-onset colorectal cancer. 2- The importance of involving health organizations in screening for the disease at an early age for individuals with high-risk factors The lecture included various points: The definition of colorectal cancer, incidence and prevalence of colorectal cancer globally and in Iraq, colorectal cancer risk factors, bad diet, and lifestyle habits that are recognized as a risk factor.
