The Dean of the College, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, met electronically with Dr. Mathew Smith from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the British Cardiff University to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two faculties and ways to develop the relationship between the two faculties. The meeting included the following hubs: Developing and modernizing curricula and methods of education to keep pace with global development, Cooperation between students of undergraduate studies in the two faculties by opening channels of communication and conducting joint research projects to enrich diversity and strengthen the relationship between college students, Research cooperation between university students for postgraduate studies in terms of conducting joint research teams and other research projects. This meeting will be followed by other meetings to activate cooperation and put the agreement into action. This meeting is part of a series of meetings and actions that are part of a plan prepared by the Deanship of the Faculty to develop research and academic aspects. And it’s worth noting that Cardiff University is a well-known British university, and Dr. Mathew Smith holds several important positions in the Faculty of Pharmacy. Learning and Education Director, Head of the Pharmacy Programme Management Group, President of the University Undergraduate Studies Board, member of the Board of Education and Examinations Member of the OSCE Skills Examination Management Committee, member of the Council for Postgraduate Research, and others.
