Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy/University of Baghdad held a scientific seminar delivered by Dr. Zena M. Fahmi, a faculty member in the pharmacology and toxicology department, regarding the natural strategies to combat aging.
The workshop aimed to summarize the Ph.D. thesis of the faculty member, which included a study of a polyherbal mix on aged mice.
The lecture included an introduction to aging, its causes, herbs, and supplements used to combat aging. Moreover, the results of the study were illustrated in detail.
