Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affairs Unit in the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person scientific seminar on CombiFlash NextGen 300+ for a high precision purification of organic molecules and natural products, delivered by Rusul Mohammed Hasan Ali, an MSc student at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department. The seminar included an introduction to the steps of organic molecule synthesis, the history of the development of chromatography from traditional column to automated flash chromatography, similarities and differences between flash and HPLC, and a demonstration of CombiFlash NextGen 300+ parts and some features of CombiFlash NextGen 300+.
