Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Supporting Committee for Volunteer Work at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with Al-Maamoon High School for Boys in the Yarmouk district, organized a visit for 15 students accompanied by 2 faculty members from the preparatory school to the College of Pharmacy. The aim was to familiarize the students with the college, its departments, and laboratories, and to motivate them to strive for excellence. The visit included a tour of the college facilities, guided by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hamid, a faculty member at the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department. The tour covered classrooms, college laboratories such as physiology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy and postgraduate studies laboratories, as well as the college library, in addition to a visit to the sports hall and college playgrounds. At the end of the tour, the students and their teachers expressed their gratitude and thanks to the College of Pharmacy for the opportunity to learn about this prestigious institution.
