Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, and within the extracurricular activities, a group of third-year students, and under the supervision of a group of faculty members from our college, carried out an awareness campaign about the harms of electronic cigarettes, where the topic dealt with the components of electronic cigarettes, the health problems to which users of electronic cigarettes are exposed, and the rumors about its less harmful effect than regular cigarettes. The awareness campaign also addressed steps to help people stop using them. The students expressed their interaction, interest, and desire to carry out such activities that help spread health awareness among general populations. They also showed their response through discussion and asking questions to the students, and in the end, they expressed their appreciation for such awareness-raising activities.
The activity was held on two days 28/4/2024 and 2/5/2024.
