The workshop summarized the reasons behind using violence against others, such as the weakness of religious and moral conscience, misunderstanding, and upbringing and growing up in a violent environment. It also presented the types of domestic violence, including the husband’s violence towards his wife, the wife’s violence towards her husband, and the parent’s violence towards their children, and vice versa. It also includes physical, sexual, and verbal violence through threats, as well as social and intellectual violence. The workshop also addressed the definition of human rights, the basic standards for them, and national and international strategies for protecting these rights. The workshop showed that there is no importance for rights without a human being and no value for a human being without rights. Humans and rights are inseparable and interconnected, and the basic condition for protecting human rights is to eliminate the contradiction between reality and legislation. The workshop recommended the necessity of activating the protection of human rights and the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and government institutions in disseminating a culture of human rights.
