In-person training workshop was held for the National Assessment Team at the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad, at Pharmaceutics Department on May 27 and 28. Dr. Yusra Mohammed Abdullah, Director of the Accreditation Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Development, and Supervision Device, delivered a lecture on evidence collection methods. Also, Dr. Ali Mansour, a member of the Council for the Accreditation of Medical Colleges at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, gave a lecture. The attendees were practically trained by dividing them into six groups; each group received a part of the self-assessment report for the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad. They audited it with the existing evidence, and each group leader presented the findings on the second day. Each group then conducted an audit visit to their respective areas to check the available evidence, visiting the library, quality assurance department, registration office, classrooms, laboratories, and college club. At the end of the day, each group presented its report, thus concluding the course. The National Assessment Team exam is scheduled for June 30th. The Council for the Accreditation of Pharmacy Colleges thanks the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad, for hosting the National Assessment Course and facilitating all means necessary to ensure its success.
