Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Pharmacy / University of Baghdad, organized a workshop entitled “E- Learning Platforms”, delivered by Dalia Mohannad Mohammed, Website Manager / Information Technology Unit. The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the most important global E- Learning Platforms, their benefits, and features. The workshop included several topics, including understanding the concepts of electronic learning, the features and characteristics of electronic teaching platforms, the most common and widespread types of platforms, and the main differences between them, the most famous global platforms, how to improve the learning experience using electronic teaching platforms, in addition to performing tests and submitting electronic reports using electronic platforms. The existence of electronic platforms from the beginning of the academic year in colleges and universities encourages cooperation and interaction between students and instructors, creates a supportive and motivating learning environment, employs technology in the service of education, enhances the efficiency of using educational resources, and reduces the costs associated with education.
