The College of Pharmacy/ University of Baghdad received a number of members of the National Institutional Accreditation Assessment Team as part of the field visit activities conducted by the team to all university formations, in order to review the extent to which the indicators of the Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation standards are met.

The visit included meetings between the team members and the Dean of the College, the Assistant Deans for Administrative, Scientific, and Student Affairs, as well as a number of heads of administrative units and divisions over a period of two days. It also involved a tour of the college facilities, laboratories, and lecture halls, in addition to meetings with a number of faculty members and students. The team reviewed reports and documentation related to the college’s self-evaluation in accordance with institutional accreditation standards.

For its part, the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy affirmed its commitment to implementing the national institutional accreditation requirements, which are among the strategic objectives of the University of Baghdad. This contributes to strengthening the educational process, enhancing its academic and research outcomes, and reinforcing the university’s position at both the national and international levels.

This activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which calls for quality education, as well as Goal 17, which emphasizes partnerships for achieving the goals.
