Under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, and as part of the activities of Awareness and Guidance Week, the Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, held the third discussion session entitled “How to Write and Present a Graduation Project?” delivered by the pharmacists Hussein Mansour and Zaid Ibrahim, distinguished graduates of our college, with the participation of students from the Pharmacine Search Club, under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Kawthar Khalid Al-Joudi, a faculty member at the Pharmaceutics Department.The workshop aimed to assist fifth-year students by offering advice on the essential tools, programs, and journals that are useful for searching important information and writing their graduation projects. This was done in parallel with assigning students to faculty supervisors to determine their project topics. The workshop discussed several topics, including the fundamentals of scientific research, types of articles, how to write references, how to search and gather information from websites, and the contents of a graduation project. It also covered the fundamentals of writing, from the title page to the references, as well as the key considerations during the graduation project defense. At the end of the workshop, the dean presented certificates of appreciation to those who contributed to the preparation and presentation of the discussion session. In turn, the contributors expressed their thanks to the dean for his continued support and encouragement to deliver more beneficial scientific discussion sessions.
