Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, and under the supervision of the Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Imad Mohammad, the Clinical Pharmacy Department held a scientific symposium entitled (Application of the Pharm-D Program in the College of Pharmacy: Experiences and Challenges), which included a number of lectures given by Assistant Professor Dr. Dhia Jabbar Kadhim, a faculty member in the Clinical Pharmacy Department, and the pharmacist specialist Dr. Kawthar Fares, representing the clinical trainers from the Medical City Department, and a graduate of the program, pharmacist Sarah Faleh. The symposium included a discussion of the stages of implementing the Pharm-D program and highlighted the most important goals achieved from implementing this program in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad and the most important challenges faced by our students during the study period and practical training. The symposium also included listening to the experiences of the College of Pharmacy instructors, students, and their trainers and their challenges during the study period.
