The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, hosted the Iraqi Football Legends team today, February 11, 2025, for a match at the college’s sports grounds against one of the faculty teams led by the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Shihab Hattab Mutlaq. The event was attended by Dr. Haider Fuaad Al-Saigh, the Head of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, who is also a member of the team, alongside a number of esteemed faculty members. Widespread attendance and fervent student and staff support during the game, which finished in a 5-5 draw, created a happy and joyful mood.The College constantly promotes such activities as part of its effort to break up the routine of the academic day and give staff and students a positive way out.
