Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, our college launched a unique initiative by introducing training records for undergraduate pharmacy students and PharmD students during their practical training stages. This step aligns with the college’s vision to enhance the quality of pharmaceutical education and to prepare qualified professional staff with the practical skills and field experience necessary to meet the demands of the modern pharmacy profession. Training records are a crucial tool for documenting students’ activities, experiences, and achievements during their training period. They help track their academic and professional progress by recording daily tasks and learning outcomes. These records also promote a sense of responsibility and discipline among students, encouraging them to engage with training programs and make the most of the available opportunities. The training records have been fully integrated into the academic curriculum, reinforcing the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This integration contributes to preparing students to handle the practical challenges in the pharmacy field. Additionally, the college relies on continuous assessment, where feedback is collected from students, supervisors, and faculty members to improve training processes and ensure maximum benefit. This initiative represents a strategic step that reflects the College of Pharmacy’s commitment at the University of Baghdad to align with the best global practices in pharmaceutical education.
