Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory
Lab Vision: The purpose of establishing this laboratory is to train undergraduate students on handling organic chemicals, glassware, and laboratory equipment necessary for conducting analytical experiments. It also provides an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with organic chemistry experiments and develop a spirit of collaboration among peers through working together.
Objectives of the Laboratory: Study of Organic Compounds: Investigate various organic compounds, including methods of preparation and reactions. Study the structure, properties, and preparation methods of pharmaceutical organic compounds, Extraction and Distillation: Learn extraction and distillation techniques for solvents and understand some of the physical properties of organic compounds, Diagnosis of Organic Compounds: Familiarize students with traditional methods of diagnosing organic compounds, Skills Development: Develop students’ skills in handling various chemicals, making them ready to perform advanced pharmaceutical experiments in organic chemistry laboratories.

The lab teaches fundamental concepts of organic pharmaceutical chemistry, including the structure, properties, and reactions of pharmaceutical organic compounds , Synthesis of Pharmaceutical Compounds: Allow students to synthesize organic compounds with known pharmacological activities, learn purification methods, and diagnose them to develop their research capabilities,Advanced Skills Development: Develop and refine students’ scientific skills, providing them with appropriate experiences to prepare them to work in pharmaceutical and organic pharmaceutical industries.
