Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Continuing Education Unit in the University of Baghdad/College of the Pharmacy, held an in-person scientific workshop about the significance of various techniques employed in studying the drug release from nanostructured formulations, delivered by Lecturer Dr. Nawar Mikhael Toma, a faculty member in the Department of Pharmaceutics. Specifically, the focus was on the pharmaceutical industry’s future prospects. The session delved into the study of drug release from nano-formulations across different approaches, highlighting the features and applicability of each method for researchers in the field. Additionally, the workshop discussed obstacles and impacts distinguishing each approach, presenting several studies for comparison in terms of result accuracy to determine the most suitable one.
