Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the College of Pharmacy/University of Baghdad held an in-person workshop entitled “How to Respond to Peer Reviewer Comments?” The workshop was held on 22/2/2024 as part of the program for developing scientific research skills for postgraduate students in Iraqi universities, which is supervised by the Research and Development Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Ali Azeez Ali, a faculty member at the Clinical Pharmacy Department. Many students from different colleges within the University of Baghdad attended this helpful workshop. The workshop objectives were to discuss the significance of journal reviewing, describe an overview of the peer reviewing process, and provide tips about how to respond to peer reviewer comments. The workshop also touched on tips for researchers on how to answer the observations of scientific reviewers, albeit long or difficult, and how to prepare two files; the first contains the responses of researchers to the observations of reviewers, while the second includes the article with shade modifications to be clear. This is a workshop in the interest of new researchers and graduate students to be able to publish their research in international journals.
