Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, a field visit was organized on Monday, 09/12/2024, to the National Pioneering Center for Cancer Research to introduce a group of third-stage students through a theoretical presentation of the uses of the center’s devices in the stages of processing tissue samples from fixing, cutting, passing, and staining tissue samples for the purpose of diagnosing clinical diseases using light and fluorescence microscopes. In addition, the center’s staff introduced third-stage students to the basics of the work of the polymerase chain reaction and electrophoresis devices. This activity was organized by faculty members from the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences: Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Majeed, Assistant Professor Dr. Aseel Ismail, Assistant Professor Suhair Hassan, Lecturer Dr. Amna Ali Abdul, Lecturer Dr. Sina Sadiq, and Lecturer Iman Sadiq Nasser
