Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Continuing Education Unit held a workshop entitled (Molecular Modeling in Drug Discovery), which was delivered by Assist. prof. Dr. Ayad Abd Ali Al-Hamashi with Assist. Lec. Mazen Mohammed, a faculty members in the pharmaceutical chemistry Department. The workshop included an introduction to the importance of molecular modeling and their role in drug discovery and development. The workshop also included a presentation about Molecular Docking and the necessary steps and the correct scientific methods to be followed to use Schrödinger suite, which include software of molecular modeling and examples and clarification of the importance of each step were presented.
